Tetra Pak: New filling machine can boost factories' bottom line

Tetra Pak has introduced its Tetra Pak TR/G7, a filling machine for chilled distribution of products like milk, juice, and still beverages, that is compact, inexpensive, and user-friendly. The machine is targeted at smaler factories.

• The machine "is not only suitable for small and medium dairies who are looking for low cost investment, but also for producers that intend to upgrade their existing lines, especially in markets like Europe and Japan," said Per Lauritzen, vice president of carton gable top at Tetra Pak.

• The Tetra Pak TR/G7 is also eco-friendly by decreasing electricity consumption by one-third as compared to other similar machines.

These features, coupled with the machine's low-cost investment, could help small and medium-sized dairies and other beverage producers improve their bottom line.

One factory manager told FoodBev.com that using the machine has helped the facility "maintain a high standard of hygiene."
